Paging Services

Total North supports its own paging system and service for Whitehorse, with coverage from Takhini Hot Springs (Mayo road cut-off) to the Carcross cut-off. Your pager can keep you in contact with everyone important to you. By giving your pager number to business associates, family and friends, you can be contacted when necessary. We have several different types of pagers available for rent or purchse.

Pager Models

Alphanumeric

Alphanumeric pagers are convenient because messages can be read right away, eliminating the need to make a return phone call. Software to support the alphanumeric system is provided free of charge and messages up to 120 characters can be sent as an email to the pager for a modest monthly fee.

Numeric

Numeric pagers notify customers of a page with a beep or silent vibrate. When you receive a page, a return phone number is displayed, and then can be stored in memory for future reference. Other features include a time stamp, individual message delete and back lighted display.

Voice

Voice pagers have a broader range of coverage extending from Marsh Lake to the Takhini Hotsprings in the Whitehorse area. They indicate a message for you in real time; the voice is heard immediately across your pager.
