Two-way
Total North has been a leading two-way radio sales and service centre in Whitehorse for over 30 years.
We are a certified dealer of Motorola, Icom, Vertex Standard and EF Johnson radios and have the capability and expertise to service almost any make of radio in both VHF and UHF frequencies. From basic single channel analog to large multi-site digital systems, we have the tools and test equipment required to keep your radio systems operating at their best.
Portable Radios
Portable radios make dedicated two-way communications faster, clearer, and easier to use for users on the move. These practical radios can easily help increase productivity by keeping users communicating, while allowing them to concentrate on the job at hand.
Mobile Radios
Mobile two-way radios are vehicle-mounted wireless devices that are used to send voice or data messages one-to-one or one-to-many over radio frequencies within a local area, city, or state. They are often installed on the dash of a vehicle, and can run off its power source. They are used by someone who doesn’t need to communicate away from their vehicle.
Repeater
Total North has custom built a large variety of VHF and UHF repeaters. These repeaters, which have been deployed all over the Yukon, provide reliable wide area coverage in remote locations. All of our repeaters are engineered and built in house by our team of experts. The standard repeaters are listed below.
Four Season Repeaters
Used for year-round coverage. These systems are designed to withstand the toughest weather conditions.
